KEYS TO RUNNING SUCCESSFUL RESEARCH

Goal: to share the experience of Susadica PhD students in conducting scientific research.

Audience: 4th year undergraduate students and 1st and 2nd year master

Nature of the seminar: interactive (presentation and discussion), language: English

What will participants learn in this seminar:

- Introduction to multi-disciplinary themes such as climate change modelling, experimental economics methods, and institutional analysis of water governance;

- Research process and steps.

Outline of the seminar

1. Finding research topic

2. Conducting effective literature review (e.g., matrix method) and Identifying research gap/problem

3. Developing theoretical and conceptual framework

4. Quantitative and Qualitative methods: data collection, regression analysis, text analysis

5. Research ethics

Requirements to participate in the seminar: motivation in doing research and knowledge of English language at intermediate level.
