The combination of hydro geological-engineering geodesy and hydrometeorology at the glance of students

Due to the fact that teachers are “leaders of children”, our main task is to lead them to the “Great Future” and to great goals. In pedagogy, there are methods such as excursions, field research; "key areas" through which the theoretical knowledge gained is consolidated in practice and in the field. Following the saying of our people: “It's better to see once than hear a thousand times”, taking into account the interests and desires of students, after school, they moved to the Center for Hydro meteorological Service.  The trip was organized under the direction of O. Rozikulova. Students of 108- group, specializing in hydrogeology, visited Tashkent meteorological station, which is one of the oldest stations of climatic data, and learned on the basis of climatic data: soil and air temperature, wind speed and direction; got acquainted with the work on determining the quantity, composition and other indicators of ground and surface waters, as well as with the maintenance of getting opinions of  Water Cadastre experts.

Excerpts from the process of studying climate data at 97 meteorological stations in Uzbekistan at  Tashkent meteorological station, built 150 years ago. Tashkent meteorological station was commissioned in 1865 and it is unique as it was not transferred anywhere. This is the highest point in Tashkent with  466 m above sea level.

The Climate data is measured every 3 hours. Constant monitoring is carried out daily at the address: 3-5-8-11-14-15-20-23. Our future hydro geologists also visited the Hydrogol Monitoring Network. Specialist Gulnoza Khamdamova gave full information about the work carried out here. Water monitoring will be generalized at 19 river stations. At observation points on the rivers, data on water consumption and water level were obtained, students received answers to their questions, and the purpose of the excursion was achieved.
