Meeting with a psychologist
On November 8, 2019, on the initiative of the dean of the faculty of Land Management Sh.Narbayev and the deputy dean for Work with Youth Kh.Eshova organized a round table discussion in the lecture hall of the faculty for 1st course students. The main goal of the meeting is acquainted with the psychologist of the institute M. Mukhamedova and provide students with information about the “psychological service”.
Group curators also attended the meeting. At the beginning of the conversation, psychologist M. Mukhamedova told students about the tasks of a psychologist. Then, in order for students to get to know each other better, she conducted the psychological training “Acquaintance”.
Each participant in the training had to give his name, three positive characteristics and three negative. All participants in the training listed their pros and cons. Some of the students could not name their positive qualities. They told that their self-esteem was low and that they needed psychological support to develop these qualities. Others told that they were bold enough, because they could name their negative qualities, and advised how to get rid of these qualities, since they have willpower. All students took an active part in this training.
At the hostel No. 3, on the initiative of the deputy dean for work with youth Kh. Eshova, the chairperson of the women's committee Z. Hafizova, the psychologist of the institute M. Muhammedova, a round-table discussion held with the students in the form of an “open dialogue”.
