My pride and honor, Uzbek language is my mother tongue

Uzbek is one of the oldest, most beautiful and richest languages in the world. The incomparable potential of the language can be traced in the ancient Toshbitiks, in the proverbs and sayings of our people, in epics, in the works of our poets and writers. The book of Mahmud Kashgari "Devon lug'otit Turk", hikmat Ahmad Yassavi, "Khamsa" by Alisher Navoi, "Boburnom" by Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur, Mashrab, Ogakhi, Abdulla Kodiri, mother of Cholponus, Abdullhauzim, Abdulnafidahidzimless pearls, written in our language.

On October 21, 2021 on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the status of the state language of Uzbekistan in the Bukhara branch of TIIAME, assistants of the Department of Uzbek Language and Literature Nasibakhon Ibodova and Nodira Boltaeva organized the event My pride and honor, Uzbek language is my mother tongue". The cultural and educational event was opened by Gulchekhra Isokova, head of the department for youth affairs, spirituality and education. At the event, students sang poems and songs praising our native language. Poet Ruzimurad Makhmudov, a member of the Turon Writers' Union, spoke at the event as a guest and gave information about the history and development of our language. He read to the public his poems dedicated to our native language. The head of Bukhara branch of the Center for Spirituality and Education A. Khakimov, chief specialist G. Khodieva and honorary teacher M. Kurbanova also spoke about the responsibility of each of us for the development and progress of the native language. They thanked the organizers of the event, students-participants and the methodologist of the department Gulchroy Adizova.
The performances of the 23-group students from Bukhara, who performed their poems and dances at the event, were especially appreciated. Indeed, we are proud to be the children of such a people, seeing the love for our native language in the sincere conversations of people. After all, language is the most beautiful feeling that reflects the human image and inner beauty. A person, who loves his language respects his people, homeland, values and cultural heritage.
