Memorandum between the prestigious University of South Korea and Kumkurgan Agro-Industrial College
On January 29, 2021, the Kumkurgan Agro-Industrial College under the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers signed a memorandum with several universities in South Korea on the 2 + 2 education system. The memorandum was signed by Amirov Nodirbek. He is both a student at Honam University in Gwangju, South Korea and a staff member at the "Sof Talims" training center. The presence of several universities gives the students the opportunity to choose, and also creates a transparent system of work. To study at South Korean university, a student must graduate from a college or technical school and have proficiency level 3 (ability to speak Korean). At the same time, students will be able to save 2 years, gain experience in their field with a big discount or 100% grant, and receive an internationally recognized diploma.
NEWTON TRAINING CENTER, in addition to organizing Korean language clubs for youth who want to learn Korean in South Korea, holds Korean language aptitude exams in collaboration with the NEWTON TRAINING CENTER. The main goal is to create a comfortable education system for young people who want to study Korean in our country, the introduction of 100% free study circles for children from low-income families with disabilities, as well as to open colleges and technical schools in Uzbekistan. A memorandum of cooperation with South Korean universities aims to further strengthen the partnership between the two countries.
