Psychological training

On December 1, institute's psychologist M.K. Mukhamedova, Chairman of AM Faculty Women's Council N.A. Khalikova and the head of the faculty youth union council, R.R. Yigitaliyeva together with the first-year students of the Faculty of ICC held a round table on the occasion of "December 1 World AIDS Day." At the beginning of the conversation, the training "Words without greetings" was held to raise the mood of the participants. The group members were instructed to sit in a circle around the table and ask about the situation using non-verbal gestures. The first to use sign language training was the institute's psychologist M.K. Mukhamedova and the chairwoman of the faculty women's council N.A.Khalikova started and the participants continued in pairs. The training lifted the mood of the participants and laid the groundwork for them to take part in the event. There was a talk about raising public awareness on issues of support, symptoms of the disease, and prevention. At the event, the institute's psychologist M.K. Mukhamedova said AIDS was a contagious and social disease. Faculty Women's Council Chair N.A. Khalikova told the students that AIDS is an immunodeficiency syndrome, in which the body is unable to fight off a person's illness, and that it is one of the most pressing problems facing the general public today. Today, she said, it has become the plague of the 21st century, and all students need to beware of this disease. Islamic teaching emphasizes that one of the main goals of a person is to take care of his health, and therefore it is emphasized that a person should take care of his health and never neglect it. Faculty Women's Council Chair N.A. Khalikova invited the students to become members of the clubs organized at the faculty. At the end of the event, leaflets promoting the activities of the psychologist of the institute were distributed.
