To develop international cooperation
The head of the department "Electricity and renewable energy sources" D. Kadirov and professor of the department O. Tursunov are in Krakow, Poland. The purpose of the visit is to get acquainted with the educational process and research laboratories of the Krakow University of Technology in Krakow, Poland, as well as the development of mutual international scientific cooperation. There was organized meetings with the professors of the Stanislav Stashica Academy of Mining and Metallurgy prof. Slavomir Mikrut, prof. Jan Vincent Dobrovolsky, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Krakow Technical University Jerzy Seitz, Head of Energy Efficient Laboratory, Marchin Furtak, and prof. Dr Justina Kobilarchik.
During these meetings the following was agreed:
- exchange of experience between the professors and teachers;
- development of a joint curriculum with a double degree;
- conducting joint experimental studies in the field of energy supply, renewable energy sources and use of renewable energy in construction;
- appointment of supervisors from two HEIs for preparation and protection of PhD and DSc;
- Issues such as the publication of scientific articles co-authored by both faculty members for indexed journals in the Web of Science and SCOPUS databases.
At the end of the meeting, the sides agreed on the implementation of clauses of international cooperation in the field of education and research with the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME), the Department of "Power Supply and Renewable Energy" and Krakow University of Technology (KUT). At the initiative of the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy supply, it was agreed that the International Scientific Conference would be held in October.
