The history is on TV
It is interesting to note that employees of the department "Humanities" participated in the program "History of Uzbekistan" on the topic "History of bakhshi art and irrigation systems in the time of Amir Temur and the Temurids". Head of the Department, Ph.D. Sh.M. Yuldasheva, Muazzam Makhmudova, Doctoral student in the specialty "The History of irrigation during the reign of Amir Temur and the Temurids", and Laziz Bakhtiyov, lecturer at the department of history of gardening during the reign of Amir Temur and the Temurids gave full information in detail about medieval horticultural art, their history, their location, lessons to be learned from them, their restoration and their practical significance today. During the reign of Amir Temur, the parks of the capital and all major cities were surrounded by parks.
The surrounding gardens created a microclimate in Samarkand, the metropolis of the times of Amir Temur. These interconnected gardens were the botanical gardens of the time. For the first time, architectural solutions, fountains, and landscape design were included in the landscaping system. Today these parks play an important role in solving environmental problems, developing horticulture and tourism.
