Memory is eternal, value is sacred

The opening of Remembrance Square on May 9, 1999 in the capital of Uzbekistan on the initiative of the First President Islam Karimov was a great celebration for the Uzbek people. After all, the concept of memory and appreciation has deep meaning. That is why every year May 9-Day of Remembrance and Appreciation-is widely celebrated as a national holiday. This holiday is dedicated to the memory of compatriots who for centuries heroically defended our country, fought for its freedom, independence and peace of their people in independent Uzbekistan. On this day it is both an obligation and a duty for us, the living, to rejoice in the spirit of our national heroes who took part in the fight against fascism, who gave their lives in defense of the homeland. Thus, the present generation participated in World War II, this brutal battle-memory of our national heroes who died heroically in it and gave their lives defending the homeland-will never fade.

Memorializing the names of the departed, honoring their memory, rejoicing in their souls, honoring and venerating the living are ingrained in our blood as a sacred custom of our people. On the way to achieving this goal, we must never forget that our primary task is to educate the younger generation, who are our pillar and support for the development of our homeland tomorrow, to provide modern knowledge to our students and children and to turn them into a truly decisive force. Dear Mentors! The Dean's Office of the Faculty of Mechanization of Agriculture wishes peace, prosperity, happiness and good luck to all the faculty members of our Institute, who tirelessly show kindness and goodness in the education of our countrymen, including students, for the benefit of the homeland.
