Meeting with "Uzbekkosmos" agency staff
There was established the Agency for Space Research and Technology under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the basis of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 17.09.2019 No 781. The Uzbekkosmos agency has been monitoring many areas. For this reason, on June 11, students of "Agricultural Mechanization" Faculty held a meeting with the staff of the Uzbekkosmos agency.
Students were given information based on the exploitation field, for instance: in the field of monitoring of agricultural lands, students were informed about space monitoring technologies to effectively monitor various aspects of agricultural activities, satellite imagery of agricultural lands, rapid monitoring of crop conditions at different stages, identification of land degradation processes, identified potential threats to crops and many other tasks of the agro-industrial complex.
