Scientific observation of irrigation and land reclamation facilities
According to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 11, 2020 No PP-4801 "On urgent measures to improve the efficient use of water resources and land reclamation in Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions" Extensive works are being carried out on irrigation and land reclamation facilities in Jizzakh and Syrdarya regions.
Within the framework of the objectives set out in the resolution between the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and the state organizations "Syrdaryosuvqurilishinvest" and "Jizzakhsuvqurilishinvest" have been signed agreements to provide scientific and technical advice on construction and reconstruction projects of irrigation and land reclamation facilities and monitoring the process of the work. Professors, researchers, doctoral students, masters and students of the institute are involved in the implementation of the terms of the agreement.
On September 11-12, 2021, associate professors of the Department of Irrigation and Land Reclamation Mamataliev A.B and Botirov Sh.Ch., independent researcher of the department Yulchiyev D.G, basic doctoral student Mardiyev Sh.H. and trainee researcher Malikov E.N. paid another visit to irrigation and land reclamation facilities under construction and reconstruction in Syrdarya region.
During the visit monitoring works were carried out at collectors in Sardoba district ЦК-6а, ЦК-6а-1, K-7-8, K7-8-2-1, 4-K-3, 7-K-3, where reconstruction works are underway, in Oqoltin district 10-K-2, 17-K-1, 17-K-2, 17K-1-1.
Jalilov S., Chief Engineer of "Syrdaryosuvqurilishinvest", technical inspectors of each facility and employees of the construction company took part in the process. During the monitoring, some shortcomings were identified, and instructions and advice were given to address these shortcomings. In addition, a master class on the reconstruction of collector networks was held by professors of the institute. Scientific observations will continue at the sites until the reconstruction is completed.
