International cooperation is a key factor in the development of the education system

The development of scientific proposals and practical recommendations aimed at assessing the current state of the higher education system, strengthening the interdependence of universities and the labor market, ensuring the composition, degree, and quality of personnel trained in the regions meet the requirements of the labor market is one of the priority areas of economic reforms. Therefore, according to the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Parliament dated December 28, 2018, it is necessary to further strengthen the work to create opportunities for obtaining higher education, increase the prestige of universities, increase the number of non-state educational institutions and attract highly qualified personnel and strengthening competition, strengthening cooperation with prestigious foreign institutes and universities, further increasing the scientific potential of higher educational institutions, expanding the scope of scientific and scientific-pedagogical training, increasing the coverage of the population with higher education from 15% to 20%, and it was noted that an increase in this indicator in the coming years is one of the important tasks.

On the initiative of the Department of Professional Education and Physical Education, an open lesson was held on the topic "Innovations in Education" by the rector of the St. Petersburg Pedagogical University named after Gersen Popov Vasily Alexandrovich. The main goal of the meeting is to further improve the system of effective cooperation and expand the opportunities for students to take advantage of emerging opportunities. The meeting was also broadcast on the platform of the ZOOM Institute.
