The cooperation of theory and practice is an important factor in the development of a country.

Mutual cooperation has been established between the Uzbek Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Certification and the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation since 2019, and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and a lot of practical work is being carried out. As a result of this cooperation, on April 12, 2021, a practical meeting was held between the UZSTANDART agency and the leadership of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers. The rector of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers Umurzakov U.P. and General Director of the Agency "UZSTANDART" Sattarov D. attended at the event.

It was noted that further expansion of cooperation between the agency and the institute is based on the 5 + 1 principle, i.e. expanding consistent efforts to harmonize theory and practice. The parties agreed to open a "Training Metrology Laboratory" with a project cost of about 3.0 billion soums.


The agreement also provides for the establishment of a bachelor's degree in Metrology, Standardization and Quality Management in 2021-2022 academic year, as well as the opening of master's and doctoral programs in 2022-2023 academic year. The establishment and consistent development of such cooperation in theory and practice will become an important factor in the future development of the country. In addition, the agreement provides for the organization of a bachelor's program in the specialty "Metrology, standardization and quality management", and in 2021-2022 academic year - the opening of master's and doctoral programs in the 2022-2023 academic year.
