Cooperation with Hungarian universities is expanding
An online meeting was held between Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and the Hungarian University of Technology and Economics in Budapest. The first vice-rector of TIIAME, professor Mirzaev Bakhodir Suyunovich, doctoral student of the Department of Land Management, national coordinator of the Erasmus + DSinGIS project Ilkhom Abdurakhmanov, BME Vice-Rector for International Relations Dr. Balázs Vince Nagy, Director for International Relations, Dr. Adrienn Fzeskai, Dr. Gergely László Vígh, Representative for Foreign Languages, Dr. Tamas Lovas, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Dr. Szabolcs Rózsa, Head of the Department of Geodesy, Dr. Lorant Foldvary, Coordinator of the Erasmus + DSinGIS Project, Associate Professor of the Department of Geodesy attended at the meeting.
The vice-rectors of the two institutes opened the meeting with an opening speech.They introduced the participants of the meeting and provided information about their universities, then was shown a video about TIIAME.
Afterwards, the following key issues were discussed:
- negotiations and signature of a memorandum of cooperation between the two universities;
- development of a joint master's program in geodesy and geoinformatics; conclusion of a contract; use of existing funds and scholarship programs, etc.
