Business trip to Turkmenistan for the exploration of Karshi Canal

 The Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 27, 2017 "On measures to further expand the participation of industries and sectors of the economy in improving the quality of training specialists with higher education" Resolution PR-3151 "On measures to further expanding the participation of industries and sectors of the economy for the improvement of the quality of training of qualified specialists ", PR-3702 dated May 8, 2018 and PR-3775 dated June 5, 2018 ”Consistent implementation of reforms to expand the participation of industries and sectors of the economy in improving the quality of training specialists with higher education for the socio-economic development of the regions of the republic, including the integration of science and production in the development of water management is one of the main issues. In order to ensure the implementation of the tasks set by Resolution No. 6024 of July 10, 020 "On approval of the Concept for the development of water resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030", the head of the department for 2021.

"The use of hydroelectric power plants and pumping stations" was established by the Department of Operations of the Karshi Main Canal , prof. Bazarova D.R. under the leadership of D.R. Bazarov for 180 million soums "Development of recommendations for establishing processes in the field of water supply of the pumping station of the Karshi main channel and increasing the efficiency of dredgers" and "Development of recommendations for water supply and water to pumping station No. 1 associate professors S.Kh.Khidirov and B.N.orkulov conducted field research in Turkmenistan on the basis of the economic agreement “Development of recommendations for assessing processes in the field and development, implementation of recommendations to improve the efficiency of dredgers and pumping stations ". In the course of field research, the expedition members carried out hydrometric and topographic measurements in the river and water supply canals to assess the intensity of processes in the river, to determine the direction of the current. Based on the results of the study, recommendations will be developed for the use in the process of improving the operating conditions of the Mining and Metallurgical Plant, and jointly seminars were organized to improve the water intake of dams. During the seminars, the agreement was discussed on opening  a branch of the department in the region in order to enhance the cooperation in the implementation of scientific research. We are grateful to I. Kurbanov, head of the Karshi Main Canal Operations Department, and his team for their active assistance in conducting research, despite the pandemic situation in neighboring Turkmenistan.
