Youth policy in practice
On January 20, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in cooperation with the Tashkent City Administration of the Agency for Youth Affairs organized a roundtable discussion on the content of the President's address to the parliament dated December 29, 2020 and further increase the political knowledge of youth. It is natural that the Address will serve as a program for the goals of the year and the reforms that need to be implemented, but the peculiarity of today's meeting is that the essence of the Address should be delivred firstly to the youth and then to other segments of society. The meeting was opened by the first deputy head of the Institute Khaytboy Iskandarov, the head of the Tashkent city department of the Agency for Youth Affairs R. Anvarova, Mirzo Ulugbek district Head of the Department Gʼ. Tolipov, chairman of the Mirzo Ulugbek district council of the Youth Union N. Shukurov, member of the Youth Parliament O. Sobitov.
Otabek Sobitov, known among young people for his critical and analytical speeches and contribution to the reforms in the field of youth, conveyed the content of the appeal in a simple and clear way to all participating students. Special attention was paid to the huge changes and reforms that are expected to take place in the lives of young people mentioned in the Address. Otabek Sobitov was asked a number of questions and suggestions by our students in the field of youth and education. All the guests who attended the meeting gave their recommendations and advice to our students. In conclusion, the Youth Leader of the Institute A.Berdimurodov thanked the students and all the guests who contributed to the political education of our youth.
