Our institute had been included the top 1000 of the international ranking of universities

On April 21, 2021, Times Higher Education (THE), the international ranking agency that evaluates the performance of universities in higher education in the United Kingdom, announced the results of its next ranking, THE Impact Ranking-2021. The main purpose of this ranking is to assess the impact of higher education institutions (HEIs) on the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) until 2030.

In this ranking, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers ranks 801st in the overall ranking of global universities with 45.3 points and has a separate ranking in the following 13 of 17 BRM areas. Ldi:

- BRM 1 - 401+ among 591 universities for poverty reduction;

- BRM 2 - 201-300 place among 442 institutions of higher education on eliminating hunger;

BRM 4 - 401-600 place among 966 institutions of higher education for quality education;

- BRM 5 - 601+ places among 776 institutions of higher education for gender equity;

- BRM 6 - 301-400 places among 520 institutions of higher education for clean water and sanitation;

- BRM 7 - 401+ place among 560 universities for affordable and clean energy;

BRM 8 - 601+ among 685 universities for job creation and economic growth;

- BRM 9 - 401-600 place among 680 universities on industrialization, innovation, and infrastructure (industry, innovation, and infrastructure);

It should be noted that the Sustainable Development Goals are a program developed by the United Nations in 2012 that includes economic, social and environmental indicators that serve to create a prosperous way of life for all. These goals are on the agenda of all UN member states between 2015 and 2030.
