The integration of training and production at TIIAME

This academic year, the Department of "Geodesy and Geoinformatics" and the Center of "Hydrometeorological Service" signed a "Problem Topics" based on the "5 +1" cooperation program.  According to the program, on October 22, 2021, students of the Faculty of Land Management of the Bachelor of Geodesy and Geoinformatics and Associate Professor O. Rozikulova visited the Main Department of Hydrometeorology of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The purpose of the tour is to gain an understanding of the process of collecting and analyzing climate and water data at a weather station. They tried to obtain the necessary materials for using climate maps and compiling a database. During the excursion, hydrometeorologist Imomnazarov Farrukh showed meteorological data of Tashkent Observatory on climatic data: measurements of soil moisture temperature from 20, 40, 80 cm and up to 3 meters. In particular, the temperature was + 150C at 40 cm and + 300C at 3 m. The students were given an overview of rain gauges.

The air temperature measurement process shows the processes of obtaining the lowest temperature, the highest temperature and the average temperature. In Uzhydromet, the girls of the faculty also made an internship and acquired knowledge, skills and experience. They also got acquainted with the data of the Uzhydromet Foundation and appreciated the value of preserving the data for almost one and a half centuries, their use for scientific and practical purposes. flow module, flow rate, particle size distribution, average flow, daily, monthly and annual data on water obtained at gauging stations.

Students received answers to their questions. In particular, work on remote sensing and the use of geographic information systems in maintaining a water cadastre aroused great interest. Tablets from the process of maintaining a water cadastre. The students thanked the staff of Uzhydromet for the excursion. It was decided to continue working together in nearr future.
