At present, the value and significance of the richest scientific and spiritual heritage of Islam in achieving progress and stability throughout the world is especially growing. Understanding is clearly embodied in the state policy pursued in our country to preserve, revive and study the Islamic heritage. On August 25, 2020, at 11:00 on the ZOOM platform, a spiritual and educational meeting on the topic "The role and significance of religious education among students" was organized for the faculty of Organization and Management of Water Resources. The guest of the event was the main imam Khatib of the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city, the Mirza Yusuf mosque Sayyid Rahmatulla Termezi. The event was moderated by the dean of the faculty “Organization and Management of Water Resources” Assoc. R. Khakimov. Chief Imam Khatib told the participants of the event about honesty, respect for parents, the role of teachers in human life, about the relationship between parents and children, the importance of education. He expressed his attitude from a religious point of view to the content and essence of events taking place in the modern world. The event was interesting and informative.
