Visit to the State Museum of the Timurid History
Amur Temur was an outstanding statesman, invincible military leader, skilled politician, talented architect, jurist and reformer. On the initiative of Hurriyat Eshova, Deputy Dean for Youth Work of the Faculty of Land Management, students of the 3rd year of the 2nd group visited the Timurid History Museum. The museum exposition is rich in archaeological, ethnographic and numismatic materials. Military ammunition and objects which were brought to the state of Tamerlane along the Great Silk Road are also on display here. The museum contains valuable documents, such as the correspondence of Amir Timur and his descendants with European monarchs, skilful miniatures and copies of Amir Timur's paintings by European masters of the time.
