Religious extremism and terrorism - a threat to the development of society
Uzbekistan has always been a country of peace for people of different nationalities and religions. Historical sources often mention that our ancestors always treated representatives of other religions with respect. Undoubtedly, the basis of all our great achievements in various areas of our country is the peace and tranquility that reigns in our society. It is known that today the Muslim world is going through complex socio-political processes. A number of countries in the Middle East and elsewhere are experiencing deep political tensions, social and economic instability and armed conflict. At the Faculty of Energy Supply of Agriculture and Water Management of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, a round table was held on the topic "Religious extremism and terrorism - a threat to the development of society."
The round table was attended by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Department for the Coordination of Special Operations, the head of the Center for Special Training Colonel O. T. Akhmedov, senior instructor Major R. M. Khabibullaev, Major S. S. Kodirov, Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs O. Khabibullaev, faculty teachers and students.
