It is a call to patriotism to instill in students' minds such national values as enlightenment, the ideology of independence. It is an enlightenment to convey to the students the noble deeds of our ancestors, who dream of our independence today. Undoubtedly, the Institute carries out a lot of work in this direction. An example of this is the creation of regular information hours. The creative meeting, which regularly held under the heading “Model, creative people”, is also a manifestation of our spirituality. One of the outstanding figures who respected by his nation was Abdulla Kodiri. There held an event dedicated to the 125th anniversary of our great writer. Uzbekistan’s beloved actress Gulchekhra Jamilova and doctor of philology, professor of Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature Uzak Jurakulov attended the event. The moderator of the event was a literary scholar Rakhimboy Djumaniyazov.
The researcher provided with interesting information important aspects of the writer’s literary works. His role in the history of Uzbek literature became a victim of the ideology of that time. Gulchekhra Jamilova mentioned that she was selected amongst 600 actresses to play the main character Kumushbibi in the film based on the novel Abdulla Kodiri's famous novel “Days Gone by”. It is worth noting that this was also the basis for success and popularization of the novel.
A talented journalist, the head of Muzaffar.uz site Muzaffar Umbarov asked many interesting questions to the participants. At the end of the event, the participants awarded with certificates of appreciation, signed by the rector of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and the Director of the educational institution "Academy of Public Speaking Art".
