In the annual report of doctoral project SUSADIKA

February 18-20, head of the Department of Ecology and Management of Water Resources A. Karimov participated in the annual report of SUSADIKA doctoral project in Leipzig at the Institute of Agricultural Development in Central and Eastern Europe, in Germany. More than 10 doctoral students summed up researches. Following suggestions were made:

1. The German professor should give lectures to more than 300 students. This experience is necessary to consider and adopt. One of the features of this experience is to use GOOGLE Forms and other programs that allow to interactively conduct classes and engage students in discussions, ask questions and check the level of knowledge obtained directly in the classroom. This experience can greatly improve the level of knowledge, student motivation and overall financial situation of the institution.

2. Availability of lecture halls and classrooms for workshops and classrooms of teachers with permanent connection to the Internet.

3. Steps are being taken to ensure to defend of doctoral project students in TIIAME, and in Germany, which is in the best interests of the institution, and should be encouraged. For this discussion for inclusion in the list of SUSADIKA graduate doctoral students of TIIAME. They can enjoy the rights of doctoral candidates, including the right to stay in the dormitory of the Institute during their stay in Uzbekistan.

4. At the time of the seminar project leader prof. Martin Petrik stressed that all doctoral presentation should have IADSEE and TIIAME logo.

5. It is necessary to reconsider the possibility of dual control of doctoral research activity in order to increase scientific cooperation.

6. Topics of some doctoral students related to climate change, groundwater status and hydrological modeling. Therefore, it is desirable to cooperate not only with the teachers of the department of water management and control of the economy, but also with the teachers of the Department of Environment and Water Management and the Department of ECOGIS.

7. Older versions of Microsoft on all computers of the Institute have been rejected. Updated files with newer versions of Winword, Excel and other files instead of doc, xls, ppt. It is expected that the damage from virus attacks will be significantly reduced.

8. In order to improve the training of teachers of the department of ecology and water management it was agreed that the trainee teacher Yu.Mirzakulov will have two weeks qualification course in Germany.

9. They discussed issues of masters and students to participate in research projects conducted by doctoral project. This issue will be discussed in detail during professor Petrika visit to Tashkent in April 2020.
