Huawei's "Digital Community 2021" conference for Eurasian countries
"Huawei" hosted the "Digital Community 2021" (HDCC 2021) conference in Moscow on October 26-27.
The conference, which was attended by leading ICT experts, partners, government officials, and the media, focused on key trends in digitalization, as well as the need for the development of information and communication technologies in Eurasia.
The delegation of Uzbekistan took part in the event and got acquainted with Russia's experience in developing the digital community and the main global trends of digital transformation.
The annual Digital Community (HDCC) event in Moscow started on October 26. Daniel Zhou, President of Huawei in Eurasia opened the conference, with a speech on “We create value together for the ICT industry”. He mentioned Huawei will continue to work with key partners to strengthen talent training efforts, combine industry with best practices in global digitization and in the digitization of industry and promote innovation in support of the sustainable development of the ICT industry.
Daniel Zhou delivered a brief presentation on Huawei's performance. Huawei is in close cooperation with global operators to create one of the best 5G networks in the world, more than 700 cities around the world and 267 companies included on the Fortune 500 list have chosen Huawei as their digital transformation partner and the 5GtoB ecosystem is being created gradually. The cloud business is developing: Huawei Cloud has become the second-largest cloud in China and the fifth-largest cloud in the world due to its drastic innovations in a number of areas and it's being the most preferred by customers for intellectual modernization. In the first half of this year, the company's growth remained stable: revenue reached $ 49.6 billion, net profit was 9.8 percent.
Huawei is increasing its investment in areas such as Internet access, computing, and cloud technology, and providing services to a variety of customers based on their needs. Based on more than a decade of ICT experience, Huawei continues to innovate and collaborates with many companies to implement digitalization in all areas and accelerate the transition to the world fully connected to the Internet.
"We are close to reaching the intellectual world, and the leadership of the Eurasian countries is keeping pace with these changes. Huawei, as one of the key players in digitalization, faces historic opportunities as well as challenges, and the best way to move towards a brighter future together is through collaboration,” said Daniel Zhou.

The HDCC 2021 conference brought together a number of forums, summits, and plenary sessions on areas such as cloud ecosystem creation, digital energy, strategies for digitizing the economy and its challenges, improving the user experience of telecom operators, and creating ecosystem strategies for end-users. The event also included an exhibition of innovative solutions and technologies.
Digital energy and decarbonization were key topics at the HDCC 2021 conference and discussed at the Digital Energy Summit for Eurasia.
Sue Hai, General Director of the Eurasian Digital Energy Division, in his opening remarks at the event announced that the Department of Digital Energy is committed to building a smart society with low carbon dioxide emissions, and he stressed that it is necessary to collaborate with partners and customers to increase efficiency and create new opportunities for sustainable development.
