Professional development in England and UzTESPING International project
On February 25, 2020, the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers (TIIAME) hosted an international seminar-training on the UzTESPING project. G. Eshchanova, a senior lecturer at the English Language Department, who participated in the project, gave the floor to F. Begov, the Head of the English Language Department, to open the event as a moderator. Then G. Eshchanova briefed on the existing faculties, specialties, achievements and international projects of the institute. The guests were shown a short video about TIIAME. The seminar and project participants were then introduced. Dr. Jonathan French, UK, Business Development Manager, Faculty of Applied Linguistics, University of Warwick. UzTESPING project assistant coordinator Khilola Maksudova (Uzbek State World Languages University) and Warwick graduate Eleonora Menglieva (BIIM), as well as English teacher of Samarkand State University Kholiddin Shomukhammedov, teacher trainers, students and about 30 institutes took part in the seminar-training.
