Cooperation with the international agricultural cluster
On October 15, 2020, the faculty of Agricultural Mechanization took part in a practical seminar on the digitalization of agriculture with John Deere in the foreign cluster "Silverleaf" in the Pakhtakor district of the Jizzakh region. At the seminar, John Deere Technical Director in our country, Neil Kinsey, presented the company's new products. The company's employees have prepared presentations on the most modern digital technologies in agriculture today. Information was provided on the remote control of agricultural machinery, monitoring of the work process. During the seminar, the work of the John Deere CP690 cotton picker was demonstrated in the cotton field.
On the initiative of the dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization, in agreement with the experts, it was decided to include the topic of digital agricultural technology in the educational process for graduate students and to prepare methodological manuals with John Deere specialists.
An agreement was reached with Dan Patterson, director of the foreign cluster "Silverleaf", in the Pakhtakor district of the Jizzakh region to sign official bilateral cooperation and organize a similar seminar at the institute.
