An online webinar was held on the theme “Management Psychology: Learning to Understand People”
April 28, 2020, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers Department of "Pedagogy, Psychology, and Methods of Teaching Sciences" was established webinar-training "Management Psychology: Learning to Understand People" for teachers, students and those interested in the department through the online platform Zoom. This webinar-training was moderated by Associate Professor of "Pedagogy, Psychology, and Methods of Teaching Sciences" D. Mukumova. This webinar is not only a remote explanation or teaching of a particular topic but also a practical action on the application of modern information technology in the educational process and the use of new pedagogical technologies in the educational process within the specialization and activities of the department.
In the current pandemic, a lot of practical work is being done in higher education institutions operating in the country to make lessons online. In particular, this webinar-training organized at our institute is a logical continuation of this practical work. The organization of webinars on this platform provides a convenient opportunity for professors and teachers of the department to communicate with each other at home and exchange news. In addition, students of the institute, who are connected to the webinar, are motivated to perform this task independently. This is definitely an important step in a positive direction.
Through the organization of such webinars, it is possible to develop the ability to discuss a variety of ideas aimed at critical thinking of young people, the data obtained, the analysis of cultural, educational, and historical phenomena, as well as the specific learning process. In this process, the implementation of distance learning projects using the potential of experienced professionals from various fields will lay the foundation for improving the quality of education in a new way in the future. At the same time, in the introduction of new innovations in the educational system of the institute, it is natural that the organization of such webinars will serve the creative thinking and socialization of young people and the formation of their spiritual image.
The current situation shows that there is a great need to introduce more modern technologies in the educational process. Every educator must keep pace with the times, work harder, have a deeper understanding of what is happening in the educational process, and have the ability to use innovative technologies. The webinar-training was meaningful and interesting, as well as rich in questions and discussions by the participants. In the end, the participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers for the more meaningful webinar-training based on new pedagogical technologies. They expressed their suggestions and comments on the further organization of such webinars.
