“DSinGIS” project became the winner in the Fair of "Erasmus + Info Day"
If the results of the action end in victory, then it pleases the person. In fact, victory and attention is an important factor for the development of science in the country.
On October 5 of this year, an event was organized by the National Erasmus +Office in Uzbekistan (NEO) under the name "Erasmus + Info Day" at the Tashkent State University of Uzbek language and literature. Ms. Piia Heinamaki, the Project Adviser of the European Commission’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA, Brussels, Belgium) attended the event.
At this event, executives of successfully accomplished projects shared their experience on how to present applications, issuing requirements and writing and managing the projects. In addition, within the framework of the European Union Erasmus + program, a joint international exhibition of international projects has been organized which included 32 projects in different directions and sectors. In particular, the team of the project “DSinGIS: Doctoral Studies in Geoinformation Sciences” of the TIIAME – I.Abdurahmanov, a National Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Head of International Cooperation Department, and also M.Reimov, National Project Manager and a PhD student of the department of "Ecology and Water Resources Management", as well as A.Khamraliev, a methodologist of the International Cooperation Department participated in the exhibition.
During the exhibition, most of the participants were interested in DSinGIS project raised significantly and they received all answers to their questions. Specifically, EU representative Ms. Piia Heinamaki expressed her positive opinion about the project. The exhibition was examined by a number of experts from European and Asian countries and was evaluated on a variety of criteria. The "DSinGIS: Doctoral Studies in Geoinformation Sciences" project, which is being implemented in our institute, has taken the first place of honor among 32 international Erasmus + projects participating in the exhibition.
Also, I.Abdurakhmanov and M.Reimov presented a presentation on "Financial management by the local project team" and shared their experiences in this area. The presentation attracted great interest of the participants and they got answers to their questions.

It should be noted that today there are 16 different projects being implemented at our institution, of which 10 of them are implemented within the framework of the European Union Erasmus + program.
