Against evil
On December 6 at the student dormitory 2 was organized an event "Religious fundamentalism and extremism". The event was organized by the staff of the Special Operations Coordination Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Major Y.Sh. Eshmirzaev, and Candidate of Legal Sciences Senior Lieutenant M.Khaitov covered the topic widely.
People who organize bloodshed against one another and actually seeking their own welfare having a mask under religion are often called fundamentalists in Europe, or extremists in Central Asia. The Latin word extremist “extreme”, that is, theories and practices that support extreme thinking in addressing sociopolitical issues. Extremism is divided into religious and secular in its essence, has territorial, regional and international forms. Extremist views have deep roots and have never known borders, and have never acknowledged religion, nationality or territory. It has developed within all religions.
As a conclusion, we can say that extremism, fanaticism, and terrorism they differ in historical origins and in other aspects, even though they are all complementary. As long as religious fundamentalism and extremism exist, the threat of terrorism will always remain. After all, terrorism.
