Dedicated to the 580th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker

The first source of information about the life and works of Alisher Navoi is undoubtedly his own works. Although the poet did not specifically write his autobiography, almost all of Navoi's works contain specific insights into his personality, creative and public activities. On 9 February 2021, a cultural and educational event was organized at the Bukhara branch of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers' Palace of Culture to mark the 580th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and poet Alisher Navoi.The event was opened by A. Khakimov, head of the Bukhara branch of the Republican Centre for Spiritual Enlightenment, who spoke about the life and work of the poet, thinker and statesman Alisher Navoi. T. Khudoykulov, head of the Chair of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Physical Culture and Sports, gave interesting information about Alisher Navoi as a poet and statesman. Then followed the artistic part of the event. There were dances, ghazals and scenes from Navoi's works, and video clips about Navoi.At the end of the event, Mirkhanova M., a teacher from the Uzbek Language and Literature Department, shared her impressions of the cultural and educational event.
