Disadvantages in the education system

The disease can be treated with systemic therapy over a period of time. But there are flaws in social life that cannot be completely eradicated. It is the scourge of corruption that has spread like the coronavirus around the world. This obstacle to development is becoming more evident, especially in the field of education and university entrance. Government laws and decrees have been passed on this issue, and crimes related to bribery and extortion are shown on television.

But the problem of their prevention has not been fully resolved. The same issue was considered on July 9 at 11.00 at an extraordinary online meeting of the Republican Council of Higher Education. The event was moderated by the chairman of the Republican Council of Higher Education, rector of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Professor Umurzakov Uktam Pardaevich. More than 110 participants took part in the event, including members of the Republican Council of Higher Education, rectors and directors of branches, as well as representatives of the Department under the General Prosecutor's Office.

In his opening speech, Umurzakov Uktam Pardaevich expressed his opinion on the topic "Vigilance is the requirement of the time." He noted that in recent years, the country has consistently carried out large-scale reforms aimed at preventing and combating corruption, eradicating corruption-generating factors in all spheres of state and social construction. The Chairman of the Republican Council commented on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.UP-5729 dated May 27, 2019 "On measures to further improve the anti-corruption system in the Republic of Uzbekistan", as well as the essence and significance of the "Roadmap" for the implementation of the Sphere without corruption project in the system higher education. In my opinion, - continued the chairman of the Republican Council, - only the education system of the CIS countries still cannot avoid this catastrophe.
Then members of the Republican Council of Higher Education, Rector of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Gulchekhra Rikhsieva, Rector of Samarkand State University Rustam Kholmurodov and Deputy Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Universities, Rector of Tashkent State Technical University Sadritdin Turobjonov, Rector of Tashkent State Pedagogical University Alisher Umarov, Rector of Tashkent State Law University Rakhim Khakimov and others expressed their opinions, recommendations, and suggestions. Concluding the online meeting, the President of the Council noted that a number of decisions had been taken in light of the above considerations.
