In the Karshi branch of TIIIMSH
The Karshi branch of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers accepted 1st year students. On December 13-14, 2018, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the Kashkadarya region. Given the high demand for highly qualified engineers and technicians in the field of agriculture and water management in the southern regions of the country, especially in the Kashkadarya region, he proposed to open a branch of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in Karshi. In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No.437 dated May 28, 2019, the Karshi branch of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers was established.
As an example of high concern for youth, a modern educational building with 900 seats for the Karshi branch of the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers was built in the center of Karshi in a short time. Rector of the Institute U.P.Umurzakov in his speech on behalf of the institute’s leadership, faculty, students and parents, he thanked the member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the holder of the “Mehnat shukhrati” medal, the khokim of the Kashkadarya region Zafar Sharopovich Ruziev, and the head of Shurtan Gas Chemicals LLC, owner medals "Shukhrat", Ibrahim Khalilov and all builders.
According to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No.5812 of 6 September, 2019 “On additional measures to improve the vocational education system”, in order to improve the vocational education system on the basis of international best practices, training qualified and competitive personnel for the labor market by introducing initial levels, secondary and secondary specialized vocational education, introduced a new network of educational institutions for 2020-2021.
