Listening to Student Needs

Knowledge and literacy are the main goals of students in the learning process. To raise their Interest in increasing this process of mastering is a matter of time, pedagogical responsibility, mentorship. Consequently, the meetings of the head of educational institutions with the students necessarily promote the quality of education and learning process.

The rector of our institute Uktam Umurzakov Pardaevich held an open conversation with the students of the Institute on 11th December at 11am and 3pm in the new format. During the lecture they discussed about the quality of the lessons and pedagogical skills of teachers. It is our duty to fight corruption. “If you notice any tendency to corruption by any teacher, and inform us about it, it would helpful to us, as well as beneficial for you" said the rector in his speech.

The second issue also touched on the students' moral standards - behavior, dress culture, and good manners. As an example he cited a narration related to Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khorazmi. It says that four reasons are needed for human existence, success, and career. The first is Manner, (the first one), the second is Good-looking - (if we add 0 to the number 1 it is 10), the third is Wealth - (we add another 0 to the number, it is 100), and the fourth is Origin (add one more 0, it is 1000.).

These four principles are the power and rank of a person. If we remove the number 1 ahead, there will be left only zeroes. Hence, Good Manners play an important role in a person's prestige. Unless we don't know how to behave, we will lose everything we achieve in life, and our efforts will be worth zero.

Then our rector answered the students' suggestions and questions clearly and concisely. The students also were grateful to the rector for his sincere dialogue and frankness. This is how we can go from a strong state to a strong civil society. At the end of the event, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs of the Institute Ruzimurot Choriev held a practical discussion on the needs of students.
