Innovative practice at Uzbek-Chinese JV PENG-SHENG

  As previously reported, on the initiative of the teachers of the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Systems of the Faculty of Irrigation and Drainage, the Department of Innovative Technologies and their Use in Water Management there was created an opprtunity for students of the 307th group in the Uzbek-Chinese language at  JV "Peng-Sheng" in the Syrdarya region. The export procedure has been established. During the internship, students additionally strengthened their knowledge at all production plants of the enterprise, greenhouses and fields.

Peng Sheng JV was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, PD-1139 dated June 24, 2009 in cooperation with the People's Republic of China. The Uzbek-Chinese joint venture Peng Sheng, located in the Syrdarya region, which produces more than 60 types of products, occupies a special place in the region due to the large volume of production. The company produces footwear, leather goods, electronic locks, ceramic tiles, sanitary ware. The growing demand for products exported to foreign countries shows that this enterprise plays an important role in the economy of our country. It should be noted that the Uzbek-Chinese Friendship Park and a kindergarten for 30 places have been built on the territory of the enterprise. Classes are held in Uzbek, Chinese, English and Russian at MTT, located next to a beautiful park. In addition, cotton grown using drip irrigation technology on 150 hectares of land owned by the enterprise is very productive and gives at least 50 centners per hectare.

On the initiative of Daulet Gulyamov, trainee in the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Systems, Mr. Li, field manager and designer of Peng-Sheng, conducts additional classes and explains to students the design of drip irrigation systems taking into account field conditions and crops. types. The course provides information about the similarities, shortcomings and achievements of manufacturers and installers of drip irrigation system elements, as well as the concept of drip irrigation system design and remote control of the system in AutoCAD. The lessons are rich in lively questions and answers.

The company's kitchen for 400 seats is equipped with all the amenities for timely and free meals for students. To usefully spend their free time, students visit the Uzbek-Chinese Friendship Park, which is organized on the territory of the enterprise, and football competitions are held.
