Babur's Priceless Heritage
The name of Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur in the history of Uzbekistan is on a par with such figures of politics and military affairs as Jaloddin Manguberdi, Amir Timur, Ulugbek, Alisher Navoi. Along with his military and political activities, Bobur was a great poet, whose rubaies delight and inspire many people today. He wrote one of the most famous oriental works in the world literature, “Babur-name”. The personality of Babur is unique, multifaceted and arouses the interest of scientists at all times. His monumental works still attract researchers, and books translated and published in many languages of the world.
On February 14, an educational event held in the Institute’s Palace of Culture dedicated to the 537th anniversary of Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur. It attended by over 420 students, more than 50 professors and teachers, and the Vice-Rector of the Institute for Youth Affairs Ruzimurot Choriev. The event began with speeches by members of the Union of Writers of Uzbekistan, talented poets Farogat Khudoykulova and Alisher Boymurodov. The guests witnessed a great theatrical performance about the bright representative of the Temurids dynasty Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. Active and talented students of the faculty "Mechanization of Hydromeliorative works" presented their presentations. The script of the play included the poetry of the poet, the most significant events of his life and work, dialogues.
Such theatrical performances contribute to strengthening spiritual and moral values, preserving the memory of the invaluable cultural and historical heritage of our people, maintaining the interest of students in reading classical Uzbek literature and developing their creative abilities.
