If the pains and anxieties of others are beginning to torment the heart, and when it appears on paper, then it is true that true talent, the potential of poetry, is stinging. The same feeling could be felt in the poems he wrote in the 60s. We see the same situation in the work of the great poet Abdulla Aripov, the hero of Uzbekistan, who is the target of eternity. We are proud that our educational institution is a leader in the popularization of Abdulla Aripov's works, published and unpublished works, analysis, and promotion of his poetry. On August 15, 2020, at the initiative of the Faculty "Organization and Management of Water Resources" was organized a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the great poet on the theme "Song of universal qualities" through the platform ZOOM.
The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Rashid Hakimov. Talented poetess Zulfiya Muminova, a member of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, holder of the Dustlik and Mehnat Shuhrati orders, a recipient of the Golden Pen National International Award, took part in the educational event. To date, more than 15 of their poetry collections have been published, and more than 50 of their poems have been sung by renowned artists. It is noteworthy that during the event, a group of students and masters led by the Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs Jamshid Turdiev laid flowers at the foot of the statue of the great poet Abdulla Aripov in the Alley of Writers. The event, which took the form of creative communication and memory, was cordial and friendly.
Ruzimurot Choriev, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs of the Institute, expressed his sincere gratitude to the organizers and participants of the event, which was held online, and stressed that the work in this direction should not be slowed down. He also noted the importance of introducing a scholarship named after Abdulla Aripov among various measures to promote the poet's work.
