Women's Committee Annual Report
A report is a document containing information on the execution of tasks, assignments, plans. On September 16, 2020, the leadership of the institute, deans of faculties, heads of departments, teaching staff heard the annual report of the chairman of the women's committee of the institute. The meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs Ruzimurat Choriev, who told the audience about the current reforms being carried out at our institute, about the role of women in these processes, about the work done, about the initiatives put forward. Then the report of Zulfiya Khafizova was heard. The report provided detailed information on the activities carried out by the team. In particular, she noted that at the beginning of 2019, a round table discussion was held with first-year students about the culture of clothing, about how to behave correctly in public places. Currently, a lot of attention is paid to supporting women's entrepreneurship, for which many pieces of training have been organized in order to increase women's knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship. To ensure the implementation of 5 important initiatives put forward by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, events and projects have been implemented in each direction. In particular, within the framework of the 2nd initiative, on November 26, 2019, the project "Sport is beauty" was organized, which ensured the participation of many of our student-athletes. Head of the Department of Economics Umida Sangirova noted that there are many women scientists at the institute, including 11 professors, 31 associate professors, 22 senior teachers, of which 60 are assistants. She suggested establishing a teacher-student tradition and increasing the interest of girls in the scientific field, which would increase the prestige of our institute. At the end of his speech, Ruzimurat Choriev encouraged the women's team, noting that there is a lot of work ahead and that the team has the strength and potential of knowledge. At the end of her speech, Ismailova Zukhra Karabaevna was unanimously approved as the advisor to the rector of the Institute for Women Affairs, the chairman of the women's committee. Umida Sangirova and Zulfiya Khafizova became her deputies. A council of 21 members was formed to discuss the entire work of the institute.
