Senator’s views
It is noteworthy fact that any state, society, or system can be understood from its attitude to women. The word "family" is derived from the so-called female word (arabic). Thus, the criterion for the survival of the society and the generations is directly linked to the continuity of the offspring. In our country, the attitude towards women is high. The equality of women, the privileges and opportunities created for them, and the fact that the special law "Family" is included in our "Basic Law" fully confirms this.
In this regard, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women is of particular importance. Svetlana Artikova, the Senator of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, was invited to share her views on this topic.

As it is well known, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women stipulates that measures to be taken to eliminate discrimination against, the conventional issues, general recommendations, the Committee's report on the elimination of discrimination against women, the provision of alternative information to the Committee, and many other issues have been clarified.
It is important to admit that not only the secular but religious essence of women's relations is also remarkable. Surat al-Nisaa, Nur, Talaq and Surah Maryam are all dedicated to these respectable people.
On the eve of the 50th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) is also important. It is a 30-article document that seeks to ensure equal rights for all women. His English, Arabic, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and French texts are exactly the same.
The event took place in the form of questions and answers, in a cheerful manner. At the end of the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Senator S.B.Artikova was presented an Honoured Certificate by the rector of our institute and the Director of the Educational Establishment "Academy of Rhetoric Arts".
