On January 16, 2021 a practical-scientific seminar was organized in cooperation with the Information-Analytical and Resource Center of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to fulfill the tasks set by the Resolution No. PQ-4486 of October 9, 2019 Professors, doctoral students, talented students of the department "Hydraulics and hydroinformatics" the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On approval of the Concept of development of water resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2020-2030" No. PF-6024 of June 10, 2020 and "On approval of the Concept of development of science until 2030", Decree No. PF-6097 of October 29, 2020 and "On measures to further improve the water resources management system", the Resolution No. PQ-4486 of October 9, 2019 and radically improve the quality of training and retraining of personnel for water management, further strengthen the system of communication between educational institutions and water management organizations, other relevant ministries, departments and organizations.

At the seminar, the head of the department "Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics" Ph.D., prof. Under the leadership of A. Arifjanov, all professors and teachers of the department, active students of the gifted student clubs "Eureka" and "Hydroleaders" organized under the department made presentations on the current problems of digitalization of water resources and applied technologies and their implementation. Director of the Information-Analytical and Resource Center of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Kurbanov and leading specialist I.Roziev made a presentation on the work carried out in the Information Digitalization and Resource Center of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan. After a lively discussion, the active students of the Eureka and Hydroleaders Talented Student Clubs demonstrated their ideas and developments that could be applied in their water management system. At the end of the seminar, the parties developed a draft agreement and a roadmap for the implementation of innovative cooperation between the Department of Hydraulics and Hydroinformatics TIIAME and the Information Analysis and Resource Center of the Ministry.
