Kurash national sport competition

Today, Uzbek kurash has been strongly anchored in world championships and the Olympic Games. It is important that the terms yonbosh, chala, girrom, dakki, halal have been included in world sport languages with their own meaning and essence. It is no secret that the Asian and world champions in almost all sports with gold, silver and bronze medals are the pride of our people. Kurash competitions have become a tradition in public organizations and educational institutions. 

Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers organized a competition in the weight categories of 60, 66, 73, 81, 90 kg and over 90 kg under the motto "This is our dearest homeland". Botir Khodjaev, a two-time world champion in sambo, took part in the competition as the Chief Referee. The competition was so intense that the deans and deputies of the faculties, who were silently watching their students competing on the carpet, would jump up and down if their students knocked down their opponents, as if they were fighting. As a result of inter-faculty kurash, the winners of the first, second and third places in different weight categories were determined as follows:

Physical testing is also a source of intellectual strength, and it is advisable to organize such sport competitions more often.
