Creation new device

Scientists of the Xinjiang Institute of Ecology and Geography of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, together with the faculty of the departments of hydrology and hydrogeology, hydraulics and hydroinformatics prof. A.M. Arifdjanov, prof. A.M. Fathulloev, Assoc. L.N.Samiev, Assoc. Sh.B. Akmalov, prof. Gao Peng, prof. Liu Khailong, Sh. Shodiev, B. Abdusalomov and students of TIIAME developed a mini-meteohydrogeological device for remote data transmission. In accordance with the interdepartmental memorandum and agreement, this device installed in 10 regions of the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Now it transfers data remotely to a computer installed at our institute. This data contains information on weather, groundwater temperature, humidity, pressure and mineralization. One device installed on the territory of our institute. Using this device, using innovative technologies, students perform practical and laboratory work. In the photo, Associate Professor of the Department of Hydrology and Hydrogeology Akmalov Sh.B. and student Shodiev Sh.K. conduct classes for students of the 317th group of the “Hydrology (reservoirs)” education field in the discipline of climatology for obtaining remote weather information. Remote sensing has a huge number of applications. These are weather forecasts: 80% of the information that used for these purposes obtained from space.
