Meeting of Academicians and Students
It is known that on December 21, 2018, President of our Republic Shavkat Mirziyoyev gave instructions to hold senior lectures and meetings on how to increase the interest of high school students to study at higher educational institutions, ensure that they do not mistaken in their future career, and what to do in order to become qualified specialists for the Republic.
On March 28, 2019, a meeting was held at the lyceum of the Tashkent Pediatric Institute located in Tashkent's Yunusabad district on the eve of the Navruz celebration. Academicians B.T.Ibragimov, A, T.Jalilov, M.Mirsaidov, professors X. Kimsanbaev, B. Zaripov, J. Khusanov participated in this meeting. The appointment was made by the lyceum director prof. O.E.Eshankulov. The Olympiad winners and active students from more than 150 lyceums and lyceum teachers attended the event.
At this meeting M. Mirsaidov, the head of the Department of "Theoretical and Constructive Mechanics" of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, also shared his impressions about what should be done to ensure that our young people become prominent scientists or other specialists. Participants answered many questions. Books were awarded to the best studentsthe in the lyceum and won the Olympic Games. This lyceum is one of the most prominent lyceums in the country.
Over the past 10 years, all lyceums and schools of the Republic have won five medals at the World Chemistry Olympiad, though the lyceum students have 12 medals. Of these, 2 gold, 2 silver and 8 bronze medals. The World Olympiad is held in developed countries such as USA, Switzerland, Denmark, Singapore, Korea, Russia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Slovakia and others. At the same time, the lyceum pupils have won 43 medals at the International Mendeleev Olympiad.
2018 is a lucky year, and this year students won 1 gold and 1 bronze medal in the World Olympiad in Singapore, two bronze medals at the Olympics in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and one silver in the Mendeleyev Olympiad, three bronze medals.
We believe that the opening of the Presidential Schools will compete with these lyceum students, because in each region of our country the next generation of our country are being studied, so these lyceum students need to further their efforts. At the moment, lyceum students are wished happiness and good luck on the eve of Navruz and further success in the future.
