TIIAME and HNEE won a grant for 620,000 EUR by International Climate Initiative (IKI) of Germany

Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers and HNEE (Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development, Germany) won a grant for 620,000 EUR by International Climate Initiative of Germany, within the framework “The improvement of energy efficiency in the building sector through the use of renewable raw materials from agroforestry”. The project started on 08/01/2021.
The project coordinator is Professor Martin Welp from Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development, Germany, and the first vice-rector of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Uzbekistan, Professor Mirzaev Bakhadir Suyunovich. Project participants are Guzal Eshchanova and Ulugbek Nullaev.
Within the framework of an international project, funded by the German government, videoconferencing and negotiations are being carried out, as well as additional agreements have been signed in cooperation with participating organizations. Besides that , within the project Dilfuza Yuldasheva , the representative of Uzbekistan in Z-U-G organization of Germany, visited TIIAME and got acquainted with the existing conditions.
It should be noted that Guzal Eshchanova received a grant from the German Ministry of Education and Research on “E-Agroforestry - Food Security and livelihood improvement through the Agroforestry in Central Asia” and as a young researcher she was invited to Eberswalde University of Sustainable Development and had an internship within the framework of the international project from the period of 09/20/2018 - 11/2018. She is still working with scientists and experts from HNEE and continuing exchanging experience with them. We hope that within international project supported by IKI( International Climate Initiative) of Germany there will be done a series of activities at Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers on the improvement of energy efficiency in the building sector through the use of renewable raw materials from agroforestry construction efficiency through the use of renewable raw materials for agroforestry systems, which will lead to the development of the mentioned spheres in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
