THE FIRST STAGE OF THE NATIONAL OLYMPIAD
Today, May 20, 2019, the National Stage of International Subject Olympiad on "Integrated Water Resources Management" is being held at our institute.
To participate in the Olympiad, more than 30 participants from all over the country have been registered online through social networking sites.
The aim of the Olympiad is to provide students with an understanding of the integrated management of natural resources, which is crucial for water and other sustainable water development goals.
The Olympiad is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Kazakh-German University and Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ravshan Mamutov, Vice President of the Kazakh-German University Barbara Janusz-Pavlette, representative of the Swiss Association for International Cooperation Sohibjon Akramov, representatives of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, GEF head Vadim Sokolov, leading specialist of the Ministry of Water Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan Isomiddin Akramov, Deputy Director of the Center for Science Information Center for Interstate Coordination Water Commission Dinara Ziganshina, Oyture Anarbekov, International Water Management Institute, Simon Kretchmer, DAAD's international exchange program, shared his presentation.
