Support in scientific and innovative activities of youth
According to the “Action Strategy on Five Priority Areas of Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2017-202" approved by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan about the state program for the "Youth Support and Public Health" year, in order to ensure the implementation of the Decree No. PF-6155 dated February 3, 2021, to support talented young people engaged in scientific and innovative activities in the regions, to form prestigious scientific schools and to further increase their scientific potential, the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 222 of 19 April was adopted.
On May 22, Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, Professor Sultanov Tokhirjon Zokirovich organized an online webinar for young scientists, doctoral students, masters and gifted students, in order to convey the essence of this decision to the public, especially young scientists, doctoral students, masters and talented students under 40 years old.
The webinar provided detailed information on the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 222 dated April 19. In particular, the participants spoke about the "Academic Mobility" program and the Republican contest "Future Scientist" among talented young people, which will be announced in 2021; To allocate 50 billion soums from the state programs to increase the scientific potential, to finance research and startup projects of young people in a simplified manner; Talented young people received information on the promotion of scientific ideas, the organization of short-term internships in foreign universities and research centers (students, masters, researchers). There were also direct questions and answers on the information provided at the event, as well as clear and detailed answers to the questions of the participants.
At the end of the webinar, the participants expressed their gratitude to organizers and gave their suggestions to organize such webinars more.
