Energy sector reforms

Electricity is an important source of sustainable economic growth and the well-being of the population. In this regard, one of the topical directions of state policy at the present stage is to increase the energy efficiency of economic and social sectors, the widespread introduction of energy-saving technologies and renewable energy sources. Electricity is the engine of economic and social development of the world's population. On August 20, 2020, at the Faculty of Energy Supply of Agriculture and Water Resources on the ZOOM platform was held a spiritual and educational event on the topic "Reforms in the energy sector". The guests of the event were Aminov Nosirjon Khasanboevich, deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Khakimov Muzaffarzhan Khabibullaevich, Director of the Energy Efficiency Department of the Ministry of Energy.

The Dean of the Faculty of Energy Supply for Agriculture and Water Resources A. Isakov opened event. Also Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs R. Choriev spoke in this meeting. Deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aminov Nosirzhon Khasanboyevich spoke about the reforms being carried out in the country in the energy sector. Khakimov Muzaffardzhan Khabibullaevich, Director of the Energy Efficiency Department of the Ministry of Energy, noted that students should not only study, but also have practical skills for future professional activities. Teachers and students answered to questions. The students suggested increasing the number of meetings with specialists in similar fields.
