Practical dialogue and partnership on UniCEN projects

On August 24, 2021, Adrian Erlinger, Head of the United States University of Central Asia Partnership Program (UniCEN) visited our institute. The delegation was met by acting rector of  TIIAME, Professor,Dr. Mirzaev Bakhadir Suyunovich and other professors-teachers of the Institute. It is known that TIIAME has been working on UniCEN projects, in particular, on the Department of Tractors and Cars. The  project "Partnership Program for Central Asian Universities with Uzbekistan" was signed with the University of Oklahoma. Due to the Pandemic situation the process was going a bit slow. Currently, professors from both sides are working on the creation of video lessons about modern subjects for Agricultural Mechanization students.
There is also a project with Mississippi State University, called MSU and TSAU and TIIAME Dual Degree Initiative. The project is expected to support the recently opened Master's Program in Precision Coordinated Agriculture of the Institute. The coordinator of this project, Brian Farrell visited our institute on February 10-11, 2020 and got acquainted with the institute and Agricultural Mechanization faculty. During the visit, the work on joint master's programs was discussed, meetings with professors and graduate students were held, as well as there was listened to the  presentation by Brian Farrell on the conditions and further development of cooperation at the University of Mississippi.

At present time Iowa State University and Iowa-TIIAME Advanced Agricultural Engineering Partnership have been hosting monthly online seminars on modern agricultural engineering for  professors and faculty since September 2020. During the meeting, the parties discussed a report on the same issues and agreed on plans for the future.
