TIIAME staff and students win C.A.T science accelerator 2.0
There a lots of various startup projects and competitions in our country, the CAT science accelerator is one of the TOP 3 best software platforms in the world rankings which is held among Central Asian countries can be an example of it. C.A.T science accelerator 2.0 project has started.
More than 253 projects from Central Asian countries were shortlisted, among them is the project "Defuse-it" developed by Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers' staff and students: Usmanov Aziz Magdalievich, associate professor of "Technological processes and production automation and control", doctoral student Ozodov Ezoz, masters Yusupov Muhammadsodiqjon and Ismailov Sarvarbek.
The team used the Republican Center for Advanced Technologies laboratory and participated in a training program for the development of startups by leading startup specialists, mentors, trackers from the United States, Japan and the United Kingdom for 6 months. 18 accepted projects advanced to the second stage of the program, Defuse-it takes the top spot in the rankings.
The Defuse-it project is involved with designation of the equipment to reduce the salinity of irrigation water. This device is based on a remote control GSM, AT mega 328 microprocessor and is equipped with a decision-making system.
In the final round held on September 25, 2020 at the Ministry of Innovation Development took first place competing with 10 startup projects that have reached the finals in Central Asia, and the Ministry of Innovation Development was recommended to fund the project. Now the team has to submit its business plan to the Ministry of Innovation Development.
