Barriers to the progress of corruption
Corruption is a comprehensive problem that needs addressed globally. It will seriously affect the political and economic development of any state and society, and will cause a violation of human rights and freedom. That is why the fight against it is of international importance and is one of the most essential issues of world politics.
At our institute held a series of events to fight it. On January 24, there was an event dedicated to corruption, an obstacle to society's development. The team of teachers from the faculty of "Mechanization of agriculture" and "Electricity supply of agriculture" took part. Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs Ruzimurot Choriev conducted the event. Associate Professor of the Institute G. Khudaiberdieva made a presentation on the topic. He commented on this.
At present, corruption has had a negative impact on the economic and political potential of many countries. Fighting it has become one of the most urgent tasks that needs to do regularly. On this basis, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Fighting Corruption” adopted on January 3, 2017 and a legal mechanism for fighting corruption created. Its main purpose is to regulate relations in combating corruption.
Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Fighting Corruption" provides the basic definitions of the concept of corruption offenses and conflicts of interests. Corruption - material or intangible means, in the interests of the person, or unlawful use of things, and the unlawful provision of such benefits. This law informs citizens about what corruption is an offense and about their negative consequences. After the lecture, the teachers listened to the topic.
Thus, corruption is a serious threat to the economic, social and spiritual life of any society, and hindering the development of the country.
