Official delegation of CLAAS
An official delegation of CLAAS, a world-renowned manufacturer of tractors, visited our institute to establish strategic partnerships. A delegation led by Dr. Nils Roych, CLAAS Director for Central Asia, came to establish cooperation with Vasily Seyder, Andrei Reimer, Bernd Henn, and Demin Kochelin, a representative of Lindsay for the development of irrigation networks.
The rector of our institute U.Umurzakov gave a short presentation about the institute. Then the rector of our Institute shared his impressions of agricultural machinery imported to Uzbekistan in the years of independence.
After presenting the members of the delegation led by CLAAS Director for Central Asia, Nils Roych, they built longed-term and mutually beneficial relationships. CLAAS pleased to cooperate with the EITI, which is one of the leading universities in Uzbekistan, preparing agricultural engineers. For this purpose, it agreed to equip one classroom of the Faculty of Agricultural Mechanization in the style of CLAAS.
